At With This Cake, we truly love to bake — but more than that, we love being part of life’s most meaningful celebrations.

We are a family-owned business based in Boonah, nestled in the breath-taking Scenic Rim, Queensland. While we often describe ourselves as a small business, there are actually eight of us behind the scenes. I’m Crystal — the baker, designer and creative heart of With This Cake. My husband Chris is my biggest supporter and the one who carefully delivers each creation safely to its destination (earning the very official title of head delivery driver). And then there are our six beautiful boys — our enthusiastic taste testers, honest critics and constant reminder of why we do what we do.

Family is at the centre of everything here, and that sense of warmth carries through into every cake we create.

We specialise in beautifully customised wedding cakes, along with personalised cookies, cupcakes and dessert treat boxes. Each design is thoughtfully created to reflect the couple, the celebration and the story being told. Whether it’s a timeless, elegant wedding cake adorned with delicate handcrafted sugar flowers, or a modern statement piece with bold textures and architectural details, every cake is designed with intention, artistry and care.

One of my greatest passions is creating custom sugar flowers and fondant figures. There is something incredibly special about crafting details by hand — shaping petals, adding texture, and building elements that transform a cake into a true centrepiece. For me, cake design is where baking meets art. It’s not just about how it tastes (though that is just as important) — it’s about creating something that feels personal and unforgettable.

My love for baking began generations ago with my Great-Grandmother. She was always in the kitchen, creating sweet treats for family gatherings and special moments. Watching her bake with such joy and generosity left a lasting impression on me. Continuing that tradition — pouring love into something made by hand and sharing it with others — feels like honouring her legacy in the most beautiful way.

At With This Cake, we are passionate about providing not only stunning designs, but also a supportive and enjoyable experience from enquiry to delivery. We understand how important these moments are, particularly weddings, and we feel incredibly grateful to play a small part in such significant milestones.
